Hey, everyone,
It’s been three weeks since the release of Gray Zone Warfare’s biggest update yet, Spearhead. The response has been great to see, and we truly appreciate your support. That said, development is far from over, and we’re working hard on bug fixes and additional improvements based on your feedback.
Since the launch of 0.4, we’ve rolled out three hotfixes and Patch 0.4.1.0. Now, we want to give you a closer look at what’s coming next. Watch the VIDEO DEVLOG or read the SUMMARY below to learn more.

Video Summary
Over 60,000 players participated in the Supporter Preview and shared valuable feedback that helped shape the final release. This included bug fixes, the removal of the overly aggressive suppression blur, and adjustments to slow the rate of gear and weapon durability loss.
Following launch, we ran a Twitch Drops campaign, released three Hotfixes, and deployed the first Patch. You can find the details in the changelogs here:
We did encounter some server crashes early on, but fixes have been implemented, and the situation has since stabilized.
We are now preparing several more patches, focused on bug fixes and improvements. Here is what you can expect:
A new player visibility indicator influenced by concealment, weather, lighting conditions, movement speed, and suppressor usage, showing whether you are currently visible
Expanded AI presence, including new gangs of AI NPCs in smaller locations and increased enemy presence in larger areas
Further AI behavior and difficulty tuning
Improvements to the task system, addressing their availability and too frequent repetition
Adjustments to vendors' stocks and the in-game economy
A new long-term contract system with objectives displayed directly on the tactical map
DLSS 4.5 support for NVIDIA users
Darker nights
Support for squad play
You can also look forward to a dev stream celebrating our second Early Access anniversary on April 30.
Thank you for your support! Enjoy playing the Spearhead update.
