To celebrate the launch, we're kicking off a Twitch Drops campaign, where you’ll be able to earn a variety of in-game rewards.

The campaign will be split into two parts: global Twitch Drops and subscription rewards.

Global Drops

The global campaign will run from August 5 until August 17, starting and ending at 2:00 PM BST / 9:00 AM EDT.

During this period, simply watch streams in the Escape from Tarkov category on Twitch to earn in-game reward containers. Containers come in three rarity tiers: Common, Rare, and Epic.

To participate, you'll need a Twitch account and an active copy of the game.

Seasons system and Season One

With the release of Patch 1.1.0.0, the Seasons system has been introduced to Escape from Tarkov, along with the launch of the first season, KORD BREACH.

Each season will introduce new rules, mechanics, rewards, and gameplay changes designed to diversify the experience and provide players with new progression challenges.

Seasonal character

Added a new Seasonal Character profile. Seasonal Characters exist on separate servers and are completely independent from PvP Zone and PvE Zone characters.

Seasonal Character progression is automatically reset every four to six months with the release of a major content update and the start of a new season.

Seasonal Characters can be created and switched between from a dedicated character selection screen.

Announcing the RGL 6s Newcomer Cup with training intensive by TF2 Coaching Central!

RGL, the largest North American competitive TF2 league, is running their next 6s Newcomer Cup September 4-6! In conjunction, TF2 Coaching Central (TF2CC) will run a four week training intensive, where eligible players with no to minimal competitive experience will be put into teams and assigned a coach to teach them the basics of 6s! Coaches will help players learn the maps and strategies while preparing them for their first competitive event. Similarly to TF2CC's previous Newbie Cup events, players will spend the training period scrimming with teammates and reviewing with their coach before facing off in the cup operated by RGL.

Battlefield 6 Game Update 1.4.1.5 is a smaller quality-of-life update focused on improving reliability, presentation, and moment-to-moment gameplay across Battlefield 6 and REDSEC.

Today we're shipping the Ranked Series of Cologne 2026 Major stickers--new stickers that indicate a team's final standing in the design. As with all items in the Cologne 2026 Shop, 50% of the royalties support the teams, players and tournament organizer.

Epic Games has officially announced that The Simpsons' Springfield Island will return to Fortnite Reload on July 30.



Springfield Reloaded will see the crossover's map adapted for Fortnite's faster Battle Royale mode. A full reveal is scheduled for July 29, with the update itself arriving a day later, on July 30.

The Simpsons originally joined Fortnite through a dedicated Mini-Season in November 2025, replacing the standard Battle Royale Island with a smaller version of Springfield. The map featured iconic locations from the show, including the Simpsons House, Moe's Tavern and the Nuclear Power Plant, along with themed weapons, bosses and characters.

On Tuesday, June 30, our next game update will go live for Battlefield 6 and REDSEC.

At 08:00 UTC, players will be able to download the update across all platforms and jump in with the latest gameplay changes, including weapon and vehicle tuning, netcode improvements, UI and HUD updates, Portal additions, audio polish, AI improvements, and map and mode fixes.

At 12:00 UTC, the new content in this update becomes available, including the Wet Work Event, Tactical Obliteration, Casual Battle Royale, the EOD Bot Arm melee weapon.

The fourth Expedition is almost here, and it’s bringing some exciting changes. Each Expedition we run, we learn something new and look for ways to make improvements. This time around, that means shaking things up with an updated reward structure.

Complete your fourth Expedition to earn the first level of the new Zenith Outfit. Prove yourself with the Expedition Challenge and instead of Skill Points, you’ll earn Blueprints to jumpstart your Topside adventures and Raider Tokens to keep you looking sharp every step of the way.



TIMING:

The departure window will be open between the 7th of July 1pm CEST/11am UTC/4am PT and the 21st of July 10am CEST/8am UTC/1am PT. You will have 14 days to sign up and complete the requirements and all players who have signed up will depart automatically.

As with all previous Expeditions, completing your Caravan does not count as signing up for the Expedition, you still have to sign up during the window. The ‘last call’ feature will...

Introducing a cooldown will limit the ability to chain activations in quick succession, reducing constant pressure on Defenders. This change creates more defined engagement windows, giving Defenders additional opportunities to reposition between uses. It also reinforces the importance of timing and coordination for Dokkaebi players.
