Horse Run Monthly
The Horse Run Monthly is a monthly event series for Team Fortress 2 that features the competitive 6s format and boasts two simultaneous brackets. To celebrate the upcoming Physgun Fireside Denver LAN, they're using the upcoming LAN's map pool to give teams a chance to practice ahead of Fireside Casts' highly anticipated in-person event.
Their Headliner Bracket (intended for RGL Main+) will have teams going head to head on stream for their share of the $500 prize pool! There's also a Secondary Bracket (intended for players within RGL AM-IM) with a prize pool of 30 keys for the winning team!
Join them on April 27th & May 18th at 3 PM ET to watch some of the best teams in the world compete for first place and bragging rights!

We’re back with another Community Update focused on destruction, and a summary of our initial learnings from previous Battlefield Labs play sessions.

OUR DESIGN PHILOSOPHY FOR DESTRUCTION
Our goals for destruction are centered around adding further gameplay depth by allowing you to reshape the environment and transform your surroundings toward a tactical advantage. For example, barging through walls to surprise your enemies, reshaping the battlefield to create new paths into the capture zones, or taking down a building to take out an attacking squad.
We're designing destruction around easily identifiable visual and audio language that lets you understand what can be destroyed, altered, or transformed through gameplay.

Chaos Refined, Carnage Redefined
This week’s update is all about controlled chaos. Tuning weapons for precision, flipping the switch on full-blown gameshow madness, and suiting up in some of our most stylish sets yet.
Gameplay-wise, we’re making targeted balance changes to two of the Arena’s most talked-about weapons. The CB-01 Repeater gets a boost to its environmental damage, making it far better at dealing with deployables and ziplines, while the Minigun receives a notable accuracy upgrade when focus-firing. We’re not touching the spin-up mechanic just yet, but it’s something we’re actively evaluating as the season progresses.
Week 2 of Bunny Bash is also live now, with a new circuit of event contracts for you to complete for some amazing rewards!

FIXED - Equipped reputation card backgrounds don't update when a player has a change in their reputation.
FIXED - Operator unlock videos don't play when unlocking Operators, and can't be viewed in the Operators section after being unlocked.

- You will need to download a special Playtesting Branch of Squad, that will be released later this week, with access on Friday Apr 11, 2025, around 11am PDT.
- There will be multiple servers being hosted by Community names that you will know and recognise! Feel free to play wherever you like, but servers will open and close to accommodate the population needs! The general public will not be given access to the Server hosting branch for testing.
- There is a special Squad Testing Discord that has now been opened to the public. Please be aware that all the normal Squad Community server rules apply in this server as well. Please refer to the onboarding channels for help if you need it! https://discord.gg/testsquad
