On Tuesday, June 30, our next game update will go live for Battlefield 6 and REDSEC.

At 08:00 UTC, players will be able to download the update across all platforms and jump in with the latest gameplay changes, including weapon and vehicle tuning, netcode improvements, UI and HUD updates, Portal additions, audio polish, AI improvements, and map and mode fixes.

At 12:00 UTC, the new content in this update becomes available, including the Wet Work Event, Tactical Obliteration, Casual Battle Royale, the EOD Bot Arm melee weapon.

Hello Squaddies!

Welcome to Update 10.5!

This update introduces new content for Squad: Fireteam while also retiring the Founders Pack, along with a variety of bug fixes and improvements. We’re also introducing the Sliva Weapon Pack, bringing the iconic plum-coloured furniture to the AK family of weapons. Players can also make use of the new Field Rest Emote.

For our modding community, the Mod SDK has been updated to 10.5. As a result, all existing mods will require a recook before they become compatible with the latest version. If you encounter an infinite loading loop after updating, please unsubscribe from Workshop mods until their creators have updated and recooked them for 10.5 compatibility.

TarCoins have recently started appearing in raids, and during the latest TarkovTV we discussed the Expansion Hub and the TarCoin currency, which we plan to add to the game. Today we’d like to explain in a bit more detail what this is all about.

TarCoin is a new type of in-game currency that will be used exclusively within the Expansion Hub. TarCoins can currently be found in raids, and we have increased their spawn rate.

Opening a marked room will not only bring a substantial profit to your PMC, but also bring you a step closer to purchasing your desired expansion!

For a limited time, you can also list TarCoins with the ‘Found in a raid’ status on the Flea Market – trade them for valuable loot, earn in-game rubles, and help other players acquire this coveted currency!

The ability to trade on the Flea Market is temporary and will end when the Expansion Hub launches.

Base Contesting and Capturing Changes

Base capturing was previously set up for two factions, and it was necessary to rework it to provide better player feedback. A new state has been added: Contesting.

The core of capturing is still identical. Have more friendly characters in the capture zone than the opposing factions to start the process. The in-between state is what has changed.

As PGS Circuit 2 approaches, the 12 Global Partner Teams and 12 PGS invited teams return to Seoul for the next chapter of PUBG Esports competition. The PUBG Global Series continues with Circuit 2, featuring PGS 4–6 beginning on May 20.

With EWC qualification on the line, every PGS Point becomes even more valuable as teams battle to climb the overall standings. Game Update 1.3.2.0 arrives on June 9, bringing the Explosive Charge Event to Battlefield 6 alongside new content and improvements, including Cairo Bazaar, the return of Obliteration, the PP-19 SMG, the Handheld Jammer Recon gadget, and a new Battle Pass Bonus Path.

At 09:00 UTC, players will be able to download the update as it goes live across all platforms and jump in with the latest gameplay changes.

At 12:00 UTC, all content in this update goes live, with Cairo Bazaar, Obliteration, the Explosive Charge Event, new rewards, and new hardware becoming available.

Alongside the new content, this update also delivers a wide range of improvements across weapons, gadgets, vehicles, Battle Royale, Gauntlet, Portal, UI, audio, and overall gameplay polish to further improve the Battlefield 6 experience.

In case you are wondering why this dev blog came early, we mentioned in the last article that we would be doing one every 3 weeks instead of 4, as a compromise between our original plan and the schedule we had for DayZ Frostline. This particular dev blog serves as an extension of the previous one, where we talked extensively about civilian clothing. This time around, we are getting into military and higher-tier gear, as well as some new melee weapons that you will see in DayZ Badlands. We have also snuck in a small firearm.
