We started prototyping boats late last year, and by the start of this year, the boat was selected for full development. mostly to complement the islandic nature of Sakhal, The initial implementation used in the prototype was stable enough for us to move forward, though we did take some shortcuts, such as leveraging existing simulations such as the car engine and gearbox. Early on, we realized that the complex nature of vehicles, combined with the instability of the pre-existing reconciliation system, could lead to boats bouncing and spinning uncontrollably in the ocean. Welcome to another community update for the month of July! We’re back again to give you an update on the Galactic War happenings, some of our favorite moments, and a development spotlight for Helldivers 2!

The War Report
Our last war update took us through the destruction of Meridia. After that, the Helldivers turned their attention to the Automatons and Database One – a stronghold of bot information, hidden deep in Automaton territory on the planet Wasat and protected by super strong encryption. With the help of complementary FX-12 Shield Generator Relays (thanks to our Ministry of Defense!), our troops successfully captured Database One, extracted the info, and liberated Wasat from the Automaton forces.

But then the Automatons did the unthinkable. They came after two of our greatest resources: raw ingredients used to create the MD-17 Anti-Tank Mines and the precious children of Super Citizen Anne’s Hospital for Very Sick Children on Vernen Wells. Due to the unfortunate timing...

Since patch 7.36 affected basically every hero in the game, it's no surprise that 7.37 is mostly focused on getting the playing field leveled again. A bunch of heroes are getting new innates and facets, and there's even a rework of Medusa. 7.37 also includes more informative tooltips, which should give you a better moment-to-moment understanding of all the variables that go into murdering someone in a forest. Attention! Attention! PASS Time Federation is looking for new sign-ups!

Calling back to their roots, PASS Time Federation is doing a 2-3 Day Cup for players in the EU region! Looking to speed things up and add a bit of spice to PASS Time, they're looking for 16 teams of 7 capable mercs (and 2 body doubles) for a 2-3 day event of back-to-back play.

The teams will take on the cramped corners of District, the large openings of Timbertown, the frozen cargo waste of Snowylake and the new and improved Proyard to take things to the next level!
