Introducing the Dreadnought
Every so often a vehicle drops into Call of Duty that stands apart from the rest. Today, Call of Duty and Aston Martin are proud to reveal that vehicle, the Aston Martin Dreadnought, an in-game, bespoke tactical SUV concept created for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 and Call of Duty: Warzone™. Developed through a collaboration between Aston Martin’s design team and engineered from the ground up with Infinity Ward, the Dreadnought reimagines what happens when one of the world’s most iconic ultra-luxury performance brands enters the world of Modern Warfare. This is one of the most aggressive all-wheel drive machines in the game.
When Luxury Meets Tactical Performance
Designed by the same Aston Martin team responsible for some of the marque’s most celebrated vehicles, the Dreadnought is an exploration of what’s possible when designers are freed from real-world constraints.
Drive to survive
The Dreadnought rolls with an armored exterior and military-grade armor plating. This isn't a joyride SUV that folds under the first burst of fire. It's a mobile fortress. Push objectives and drive straight through contested ground while its impressive armor plating helps absorb the heaviest of incoming fire.
The most aggressive AWD in MW4
Grounded in Modern Warfare's in-game physics and packing supercar-level performance, the Dreadnought is the most aggressive all-wheel drive in the game. This translates to brutal traction, real speed, and the momentum to ram, escape, or run down a squad that thought it had you cornered — all announced by the roar of a full-blooded V12 engine.

A Closer Look at the Aston Martin Dreadnought
The capabilities of a performance SUV have been translated into an immersive virtual world for the next generation of Aston Martin fans. Grounded in the in-game physics of the Call of Duty universe, this unapologetic, uncompromising tactical all-wheel drive SUV delivers not only a stunning exploration of extreme visual language, but also an engaging and dynamic player experience.
The Dreadnought name naturally conjures up images of military might. Aside from its obvious dictionary definition, “fear nothing”, it also recalls the famous early 20th Century British warship, HMS Dreadnought, which was so revolutionary in terms of her armament and propulsion that she coined an entirely new class of warship, defining global naval military ambition in the early 1900s. The Dreadnought combines supercar levels of performance, advanced armor technologies, and adaptive combat zone intelligence systems into a single, striking form.
Though these elements are purely cosmetic in the game, all have been imagined for elite tactical performance: from its optimized aerodynamics to its fully integrated digital command interfaces. Exquisite design details emphasize the Dreadnought’s high luxury heritage: from the herringbone weave of the exterior carbon fiber to the Oxford Tan leather dashboard and door panel details, and the metallic gold gear lever. These are uniquely contrasted in this digital creation with features rarely found in an Aston Martin like military grade armor plating.
Amplified without restraint: Unmistakably Aston Martin
Commenting on the debut of the Dreadnought in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, Aston Martin Chief Creative Officer, Marek Reichman, said: “The team have hugely enjoyed the not inconsiderable challenge of redefining what an Aston Martin can be when the only limit is imagination.
“To create the ultimate exotic off-road machine, I had to imagine Dreadnought not only as a digital asset, but as a vehicle living in the real world — navigating the streets of New York, powering through the monsoon-soaked roads of Mumbai, and performing with complete authenticity in every environment,” Reichman said. “That vision allowed us to create something that feels genuinely real, even within the immersive world of the game.

The quality of the details we have been able to include, right down to the iconic Chiltern Green paint color so synonymous with this marque, underscores our dedication to delivering a truly authentic Aston Martin experience,” Reichman said. “Features as diverse as the carbon fiber chassis right through to exquisite elements such as the door hinges in anodized Satin Gold, reflect our real-world determination to be the most desirable ultra-luxury brand in the automotive sector, and beyond.”
Built Together with Infinity Ward
Bringing the Dreadnought to life required close collaboration between Aston Martin and Infinity Ward throughout every stage of development, from concepting and vehicle geometry to animation, in-game physics, propulsion, and gameplay tuning. Every element was engineered to reflect Aston Martin's distinctive design philosophy while delivering a high-performance armored vehicle purpose-built for Modern Warfare 4. The results, explains a member of Infinity Ward’s design team, is “a high performance armored vehicle that stays true to Aston Martin’s distinctive design philosophy and dominates any battleground. This is the most aggressive all-wheel drive vehicle in Modern Warfare 4.”
