Fortnite has deployed a Battle Royale Hotfix adjusting the 8-Bit Shotgun, mixing a Mythic reload buff with a small damage nerf across rarities.
According to leakers, the Mythic 8-Bit Shotgun's reload time has been cut by about 40%, falling from 4.2 seconds to roughly 2.5 seconds. Further details put the Enhanced Mythic reload at 2.52 seconds (down 40.5% from 4.2 seconds) and show Common through Mythic body damage dropping by 3.1%.

Enhanced 8-Bit Shotgun (Mythic)
- Reload time reduced from 4.2s to 2.52s (about 40.5% faster).
8-Bit Shotgun (Common to Mythic)
- Damage reduced by 3.1%, from 95/100/105/110/116/121 to 92/97/102/107/112/117.
