Rally DLC and Update 1.9 Out Now!

Start Your Engines!

The roads are about to get a lot louder. Arriving alongside the latest 1.9 Major Update, Arma Reforger Rally DLC brings a new single-player racing experience to the islands. Choose from three rally cars, take on six tracks, and put your driving skills to the test against the clock. With a major vehicle simulation overhaul arriving in the same update, there is plenty changing beneath the bonnet, too.

Six Tracks, Three Islands

This DLC brings six tracks across Everon, Arland, and Kolguyev, taking you through wooded bends, across the airfield, and down volcanic slopes. Roads you might normally cross on the way to an objective become a challenge of their own.

Customizable race conditions give you more ways to test yourself. Learn the route, get a feel for the grip, and find the balance between speed and making it through the next corner. A little confidence can save you time. Too much... and you might meet a tree.

Choose Your Car

Three rally cars bring different strengths and handling characteristics to the starting line. Each comes with a choice of racing liveries, but what is underneath will matter more for your finishing time. Vehicle access follows the approach used in Arma 3; where owners can drive DLC vehicles, while players who do not own the DLC can still ride in them as passengers.

Šárka 105 RS

An upgraded 130-horsepower engine, a five-speed gearbox, and a wider body kit turn the familiar Šárka into a much more ambitious machine. With a racing steering wheel and other rally upgrades, this is a car ready to be pushed. Just make sure your braking points are ready, too.

Sputnik 600 RS

Lightweight, unconventional, and powered by a two-stroke engine, the Sputnik 600 RS is an East German classic that trades everyday duties for rally tuning, letting its compact body tackle corners at a very different speed.

Dana 2001 RS

The Dana's recognizable Soviet styling, dashboard, and steering wheel remain, but its rally variant has a different job to do. Sitting between the Šárka and Sputnik, the Dana 2001 RS offers a balanced alternative as you work out which car best suits your driving style.

Race the Clock

Rally's single-player time trials give you a reason to return to each track. Chase ghost times, learn where you are gaining or losing seconds, and push to improve your own best run.

Expect to spend some time learning. These cars reward practice, and your first attempts may involve more sliding, spinning, and rolling than you intended. If you end up on your roof, AI spectators can help put your car back on its wheels so you can keep going.

Get comfortable with one car, try another, and see how much of what you learned carries over. There is always another run to make and another braking point to get right.

More Under the Hood

Rally DLC arrives alongside a major vehicle simulation overhaul in the free 1.9 platform update. These driving improvements are available to everyone, regardless of DLC ownership.

Engines, clutches, differentials, and wheels have been reworked, alongside changes to steering, tires, and suspension. Vehicles respond more realistically to the road, manual driving demands more clutch care, and vehicles with multiple driven axles benefit from improved torque distribution on uneven terrain.

Support for racing wheels, pedals, and gear shifters, including force feedback, gives you more ways to drive. Mouse steering and more consistent steering speeds across input devices also improve the experience for keyboard and controller users. Dust, mud, skid marks, and tire smoke add to the action.

More Improvements and Changes

Beyond driving, the 1.9 update includes several additions to everyday gameplay:

  • Foliage removal: Use a shovel to clear bushes and low foliage. Building bases and larger compositions also clears obstructing vegetation.

  • Magazine repacking: Combine ammunition from compatible magazines to make better use of the rounds you have left.

  • LAV-25 upgrades: A night vision optic, smoke launchers, and a rate-of-fire selector expand its capabilities. Its supply cost and rank requirement have increased accordingly.

  • Canteens: Replenish your hydration to support stamina and steadier aim while operating in the field.

The update also brings further fixes and improvements across the game. Read the full 1.9 changelog for the complete breakdown.

Pick your car, learn the track, and see how much time you can shave off your next run. Find out more about Arma Reforger Rally DLC on Steam.

We'll see you on the track!
