This Month in Sea of Thieves: November 2026

After October’s whirlwind of Live Events, it’s hard to believe that we’re already in November, but the calendar never lies – and thus, we’re here with another monthly round-up. Keep reading to find out what you can expect from November and how to make the most of it. Or don’t, and be surprised! We’re not the boss of you.

Last Ship Standing: Sloops – Tuesday, November 3rd – Tuesday, November 10th

Sailing into the month, the first Event you’ll encounter is a blistering fight to the death in the Sea of the Damned! Not the most relaxed of beginnings, but ideal for any crews hoping to increase their favour with the Factions – and earn some exclusive cosmetics and Doubloons along the way.

To get involved, simply set sail on a Sloop as either a solo or duo crew and use your Hourglass of Fate to pick a Faction. From there, you can dive beneath the waves and emerge into a six-ship free-for-all at your leisure. Good luck!

Emissaries of Fortune – Every Wednesday

Turning our attention to the weekly recurring Events, Emissaries of Fortune will once again be active each Wednesday of the month. During this 24-hour rush (10am-10am UTC), crews who boldly raise an Emissary Flag for their chosen Trading Company will enjoy increased rewards for their efforts! But with so many daring Emissaries around, pirates who align with The Reaper’s Bones are sure to be out in force too…

Fight Nights – Every Tuesday

Our second weekly Event is slightly less regular than its companion, in that Fight Nights takes a week off whenever Last Ship Standing is active. However, on every remaining Tuesday of the month you’ll be free to rake in the Allegiance as this multiplier boosts all rewards received from Faction Battles. If you and your crew are in the mood to load up the cannons and get to blasting, Tuesday is the day to aim for.

Twitch Drops – Friday, November 6th – Wednesday, November 11th

Tune in to a Sea of Thieves Partner or Affiliate Alliance stream during November's Drops period (provided you have your Twitch and Sea of Thieves accounts handily linked up) and you can unlock some extra gold, Renown and another batch of cosmetics: the Face, Meet Palm Emote, Seeker of Free Loot Title, Twilight Hunter Spyglass, Lionfish Sails and, at the end of the six-hour viewing time required to unlock the whole lot, the brand new Hidden Treasures Hat.

Bilge Rats Weekender – Friday, November 13th – Monday, November 16th

The Bilge Rats aren’t going to be outdone by all this Faction and Company jostling. They’ve got their next Weekender all set and ready to go for the second weekend of November, with the promise of Challenges, fireworks and those all-important Doubloons to be snatched up.

Fans of The Hunter’s Call will also be pleased to know that the Festival of Fishing makes a reappearance during this Weekender. All players will be able to raise a Hunter’s Call Emissary Flag and enjoy a bump in Grade progression while out there hunting and fishing! Completing the two limited Voyages before the Event ends will also reward you with increased gold and reputation in return for your loot, plus a hefty pouch of Doubloons to spend at your leisure.

November Game Update – Thursday, November 19th

Just a few days after the Weekender comes to a close, we’ll be bringing the game down to get everything in place for the November update! Expect more quality-of-life additions plus a range of improvements to Custom Seas, including tweaks to the Free Camera and additional items on the Spawn Menu. Old Boot Fort will also make its return as a Legendary Location to remind everyone of the island’s charms before the Fort of the Damned emerged, while a face from Rare’s past brings some killer moves to the Pirate Emporium in the sparky new Orchid’s Sting set.

You’ll also notice that the November update requires a complete redownload of the game, but it’s for a good cause: our teams have been working hard on improving file compression within the game and, as a result of their efforts, Sea of Thieves will now take up much less space on your devices.

Renown Rally – Friday, November 20th – Monday, November 23rd

The end of Season 21 isn’t due until December, but that still doesn’t leave too much time to max out your Season Pass if you’re still languishing in the lower levels. Fortunately, this Season’s Renown Rally should help you speed towards that finish line with a sizeable boost to your Renown earnings throughout the Event. Whatever you get up to during this weekend, the peak of the Season Pass – and the illuminating Star Prize it promises – will be closer than ever!

Pirate Emporium Black Friday Sale – Wednesday, November 25th – Wednesday, December 2nd

And finally, closing out the month, the Pirate Emporium shopkeepers are eager to share their latest sale. This time, they’re offering whopping discounts of up to 50% on almost everything in stock, including items from Sea of Thieves: A Pirate’s Life and The Legend of Monkey Island. At the same time, the elusive Golden Skull Sails will make a brief return to the store for the duration of the sale only, so there’s no time to lose if you want to get your hands on them.

And that’s it for now! The end of the year isn’t far away, but we’ve still got plenty of things that we hope will take your fancy before then, so be sure to join us back here next month for a look at the last few weeks of 2026. Until then, good luck out on the seas, and remember to keep up with the latest news as it happens/just before it happens/shortly after it happens (dependent on a thrilling variety of factors) via official Sea of Thieves social channels!
