SEASON 3*
Legendary Battlefield maps are coming back: prepare for Railway to Golmud, Battlefield 6's largest map yet, and Cairo Bazaar, an updated take on Grand Bazaar, alongside the launch of Ranked Play and Solos for Battle Royale.
SEASON 4
The Battlefield expands on Land, Air, and Sea. The massive Tsuru Reef and the return of Wake Island will both feature aircraft carriers with operational flight decks, new naval vehicles, and a dynamic wave system. Plus: Custom Lobbies and Spectator Mode.
SEASON 5
We're dropping three maps and more for our final season of 2026... More to be revealed later.
QUALITY OF LIFE UPDATES
A Server Browser with Persistent Servers, Multiplayer Leaderboards, the return of Platoons, and Proximity Chat are set to bring our community closer together on the Battlefield in 2026.
ONGOING COMBAT IMPROVEMENTS
Expect combat tuning alongside the introduction of new weapons, soldier visibility, matchmaking improvements, and further changes to challenges and progression.
MAP REWORKS
Based on community feedback, the lines of the Battlefield are being redrawn - enhancements of New Sobek City and Blackwell Fields that raise the quality bar for both maps are coming to Battlefield 6. Learn more at http://www.battlefield.com/2026-roadmap.
